I dreamt that me and a few other people (friends, family, fictional character, nondescript dream people) were fighting strange creatures and venturing into the abyss like area. It was like an RPG game, like having to buy gear and abilities from shop vendors and occasionally fighting from a third person perspective with a video game hud. The reason we were going down into the abyss was because we had to kill a powerful entity in the form of a manhole cover. The manhole cover entity had a drawing of a snake and a tiger with flames and lightning similar to an old metal album. The manhole cover was kinda like the entity's starter form and it will eventually transform into an even more powerful form that could possibly destroy the world. After fending off the bird of creature accenting out of the abyss (most likely the manhole covers minions) and descending into the abyss to defeat the entity before it achieves its final form. But towards the end of the dream, the manhole cover entity accends onto the surface of the world and an apocalyptic event starts. Sky turned red, endless streams of lightning, hundreds of monsters. All as the manhole cover rises into the sky and it starts to break, as if it's about to transform. But the dreams before I could get the full ending
